Centering Clients. Supporting Students. Scaling with Empathy.

Whitecoat Learning Platform is proud to welcome Brianne (Bri) Yip as the new Director of Client Success. She brings deep experience in designing intuitive, human-centered service models that simplify complex systems and elevate the user experience, especially in healthcare and technology.
Bri joins Whitecoat after more than five years at Vanderbilt Health, where she managed the MyHealth Bundles patient navigation team. There, she helped design and scale services that guided patients through complex care episodes like maternity and surgery, ensuring they felt seen, supported, and informed.
Earlier in her career, Bri led customer experience work at Lyft and Nintendo. While the platforms were very different, both required agile support systems and intuitive design.
Her track record of simplifying complexity and scaling with empathy makes her a natural fit for this next chapter.
“My role is to make sure clients feel confident that our platform supports their goals but also to ensure their students and team members are having a great experience, too. If it’s not intuitive for the people using it daily, we’re missing the mark.”
A Mission-Driven Mindset
Bri describes herself as “relentless” in pursuing an outstanding user experience. A simple question fuels that drive: what would wow the person on the other side of the screen? Whether onboarding a new program or resolving a support need, her philosophy is rooted in empathy and clarity.
“When I step into a room, my default is: I’m on your side. My job is to make your life easier, not harder. That’s how we build trust.”
Her open and transparent communication style has helped her stand up scalable support models that feel personal at every level. It’s also helped her earn trust quickly in environments with high stakes and limited time.
“We’re not here to check a box,” she says. “We’re here to design an experience people want to use.”
What It Means for Our Partners
Bri represents more than a new hire for university leaders and clinical education programs. She’s a partner in the success of their students. She brings the infrastructure, mindset, and momentum needed to ensure that as Whitecoat scales, support gets stronger, not diluted.
Whitecoat is excited about what’s ahead, and with Bri leading client success, we’re even more confident about how we’ll get there.
A Voice for the Underserved
Beyond supporting Whitecoat clients, Bri’s commitment to advocacy is just as strong. She serves on the board of the Sexual Assault Center in Nashville and leads its Sunshine Committee, focused on supporting staff who serve survivors and their families. Her volunteer work began years ago, sitting with survivors during forensic exams at local hospitals.
That same sense of purpose guides her work today.
“So many people—especially young people—don’t feel understood or supported. I want every interaction, whether on our platform or in life, to make someone feel like they matter.”
More Than a Title
Bri has a zest for life that keeps her grounded and energized.
She lives by a personal mantra: “Follow the yes.” It’s more than a motto. It’s how Bri navigates growth, challenge, and decision-making. It means leaning into possibilities, trusting her instincts, and saying yes to new ideas that align with values and vision—even when they stretch comfort zones. It’s the mindset that led her to serve vulnerable communities, build bold support systems, and ultimately join Whitecoat with a clear belief in its mission.
When asked how she defines success, Bri’s answer is clear: “It’s not up to anyone else to define what success looks like for you. You’re the biggest stakeholder in your own life. Your goals should reflect what matters to you, not someone else’s expectations.”
Outside of work, Bri is an avid reader. Her passion for books turned into a creative side business: she curates and sells themed reading care packages, or “book baskets,” with surprise titles and cozy extras like bookmarks, candles, or even blind date-style book wraps. It’s one more example of how she creates meaningful experiences in every aspect of her work and life.
